Halloween Inscriptions: Part – II The House of the Pristine

It has been 4 and a half years since this event has taken place. One of the few experiences I have that can be addressed as supernatural and unearthly.

A few days ago I published a blog on anxiety and how its existence is able to distort our thought process; The Ghosts of the Past. This whole experience, however, had occurred before The Ghost of the Past and is still remained unexplained in my comprehension.

Nonetheless, I believe there is always a reason behind everything and we’d eventually be able to find an answer for anything yet to be explained. So I would not put it under the category of ghost. To call it supernatural seems to be a good way to address it even though I think the word ‘supernatural’ may be an exaggeration.

Back in January, 2014 my friends and I would meet up and chat in a school lawn in the evenings. The place was only 15 mins away from my home. So I thought it’s convenient to be able to stay closer to my house.

The place didn’t have a good reputation in the first place. We would see people who live near by the school talking about some unholy spirit that resides in there. But it’d never really cross our mind. My friend and I would always take it as a lousy fanaticism of the people.

Back then the school wasn’t in its best shape. It was small in size, was dirty and had a very few pupil. And in the evening no one off the residents near by would be seen.

However, The first time something had taken place, it didn’t catch any of us attention, or we cared. It was a brief sound of pulling a bench came from one of the classrooms at around 7 to 7:30 P.M. The next day it was something different; the sound of something falling off the ceiling on the floor happened to take place around the same time: 7 to 7:30 P.M.  Then 2 or 3 days passed by and nothing happened.

About a week later, we heard a similar sound of pulling a bench around 7:10. It was only then we noticed the occurrence of the sound would only happen between 7 to 7:30. So the next day we stayed mindful and a faint and brief sound of abrading something came from one of the classroom at the same time, around 7 to 7:30.

Even with all these we hadn’t really taken it as something intense. In fact, we were kind of enjoying everything that had been happening until the day came by.

It was a Thursday if I’m remembering correctly. We were 12 to 15 lads, some were standing and some of us were sitting in a circle. Around 7:15 or 16 a faint sound appeared out of a classroom. I remember it was almost dark out but the moon was illuminating enough light to be able to see everything and everyone’s faces clearly.

It wasn’t over for the day. I remember, I put my phone out of my pocket for some reason. I looked at the time; it was 7:19. And it happened. There were two sectors of the school. One of them had all the classrooms and one had the canteen and urinals and washroom. The one with canteen and all started to tremble out of nowhere. And it was happening with a massive amount of sound; like the world was encountering some sort of apocalypse. I felt the roof was about to blow off and then I noticed; like someone or something was trying break out all the doors and it’s going to be succeeded anytime.

The whole event took place for 30 to 45 seconds. When it stopped I saw some of the lads who were standing were half-seated by then. Everyone of us was terrified or mostly surprised by the intensity of the whole thing. We stayed there for another 20 minutes and tried to figure out what had just occurred. Nothing caught our attention. The whole building was standing there as if nothing had taken place.

I genuinely believe the intensity of whatever it was should have destroyed the whole building or the part of it. But it didn’t.

However, it didn’t stop us from going there. There would still be sounds but not as intense or terrifying. We kept on meeting up there almost everyday until it was March.

The last time I was there, I think it was early 2017. The building was all reconstructed by then and was still in progress.

I have encountered multiple events that I have not been able to explain. Some of them were some hotel room in a place I visited or just stories or experiences some of the people told me. But it has been the most intense experience of witnessing the ‘supernatural’ I have had.

It’s the spookiest month of the year and we are only a day away from Halloween. So I hope everyone has the best experience. Happy Halloween.

  1. Great story!
For me, there is a sense of someone or something because of smells. For example, we just moved to a new place. It is about 80 years old or so. The other night, I was awakened by a powdery/floral scent, much like a woman’s deodorant or body spray. Only, I don’t use anything like that, and no one else in my home does either. Before that, it was the scent of jasmine. Odd and I have no idea how to explain it, but it was there, even after I woke up.

    1. Thank you for reading and sharing your story.
It truly is a mysterious experience to have. While I’m not sure about your neighborhood or surroundings, I can at least say; a couple of years ago I’d use to get a strange sweet smell at nights. I became really worried but it turned out that it was the smell of baking and confections from a bakery in the neighborhood.
Again, I cannot be certain about the experience that you have been encountering. But I truly hope it’s something similar to mines. Thank you so much again for reading.
